Refund Policy – SKK Solicitors

At SKK Solicitors, we maintain a clear and transparent refund policy. Please note the following terms:

  1. No Refunds Once Engaged:
    We do not issue refunds once an engagement letter has been sent, and/or disbursements have been paid, or a liability for disbursements has been incurred.
  2. Refund Conditions:
    If you request a refund of some or all of the funds paid, we will deduct:
    • Direct costs incurred by us.
    • Fees for work completed up to the date of your refund request.
    • Any applicable VAT, disbursements, or other costs incurred in line with your instructions.
  1. Requesting a Refund:
    • To request a refund, please contact your solicitor or the person handling your matter.
    • Your solicitor/caseworker will review the request and refer it to our accounts team for assessment.
  1. Processing Time:
    Refunds approved by the accounts team will be processed via bank transfer within 28 working days of the agreement.
